און טאקע וועגן דעם איז עזר למשפחות געגרינדערט געווארן.

אפאר ביישפילן פון טעלעפאן קאלס וואס מיר באקומען כסדר:

''אונזער קינדער זענען ממש הינגעריג. ברויט און רייז פאר נאכטמאל איז פשוט נישט געניג זיי צו זעטיגן! איך קען נישט געדענקן די לעצטע מאל זיי האבן געהאט פלייש אדער גרינצייג.''

''אויב ס'איז שווער צו גלייבן אז מענטשן  היינטיגע צייטן קענען זיין אזוי ארים, קום אריבער און זעהט מיין פרידשידער. ליידיג איז נישט דאס ווארט. איך שפיר זיך ווי אזא בטלן, אז איך קען נישט אריינברענגען געניג פרנסה אז מיין משפחה זאל האבן וואס צו עסן.''

וויבאלד מיר שטרעבן צו העלפן יעדער בכבדיגערהייט, שיקן מיר אן אנגעפילטע קרעדיט קארטל וואס זיי קענען ניצן און געוויסע געשעפטן פאר טאג טעגליכע עסנווארג.

די משפחות קענען ניצן די קרעדיט קארטלעך פונקט אזוי ווי אלע אנדערע קונים, אן דעם וואס איינער זאל וויסן אז זיי פארלאזן זיך אויף צדקה. קיינער וואלט נישט גע'חלמ'ט אז אן אונזער שטיצע איז זייער מעגליך אז זיי וואלטן געגאנגען שלאפן הינגעריג.

עזר למשפחות העלפט איבער 450 משפחות אין ירושלים, בני ברק, בית שמש און עלעד מיט א יערליכע בודשעט פון $1.2M. אונזער ציל איז אז קיינער זאל זיך נישט ארום דרייען הינגעריג - אפילו פאר איין טאג. 

דיין ברייטהארציגע נדבה וועט:

It hurts to hear about children going to sleep hungry. 

It’s painful to read about people who can’t afford to buy basic food items. 

We get that. 

And that’s precisely why Ezer l’mishpochas was established. 

These are some of the calls we get regularly:

“It’s Thursday night and we got no ingredients for Shabbos cooking in the house.My wife doesn’t want me to apply for shabbos packages, because she is embarrassed of the neighbours. ”

“Our kids are seriously going hungry. Somehow, bread and rice for supper just isn’t filling enough. I can’t remember the last time they’ve had protein or vegetables.”

“If you don’t believe poverty exists nowadays, just come see my fridge. It’s beyond empty! I feel like such a failure, that I can’t provide food for my family.”

Ezer l’mishpoachas fields each call confidentially and sensitively, reassuring distressed families that help is on the way. 

Since we strive to help families while retaining their dignity, we deliver a prepaid credit card which can be spent in various shops on basic food items. 

The grateful recipients can swipe their cards like any other customer. Nobody knows that they are relying on charity to get by; that without our help they will very likely go to sleep hungry.
