A TRAGEDY... NO WORDS...

 A young grieving widow  | 11 Yesomim | 6 week old baby | A Kallah before her chasunoh

Shattered by the sudden Petiroh of their husband/father



Amidst the joy and celebration on Simchas Torah, a tragedy took place in Yerusholayim. 

A young Reb Shlomoh Silbiger זצ"ל was niftar at the untimely age of 43, after being ill with Coronavirus for 3 short weeks. He left behind a grieving אלמנה with 11 יתומים; the youngest, little Moishele, only 6 weeks old...  

Reb Shlomoh is the son of the legendary Reb Avrohom Shlita from Manchester, rov of Chodosh. He married the daughter of Reb Osher Schloss Shlita, London/Yerusholayim and spent his days learning and supporting his family. In the morning he learnt in the Kollel of his illustrious grandfather - The Gaavad of ירושלים, Horav Yitzchok Tuvia Weiss Shlita, and the rest of the day he toiled to support his family. How will they now put food on their table? 

The family are left destitute with no income and no roof over their head. They have been served notice to vacate their small 3 bedroom rented apartment. It was their happy home for 10 years… Where do they go now?  

The family is Boruch Hashem covered by ‘Areivim’ which pays for Chasunah expenses. However, they have no means of support for day to day expenses. 

We may not be able to fill the love that Shlomoh gave his family but we can help by donating generously.

The Gaavad Shlit’a and Reb Avrohom Gurwitz urges everyone to do their utmost for this worthy cause.
