Ambitious about Autism

Ambitious about Autism is the national charity for children and young people with autism.

We provide services, raise awareness and understanding, and campaign for change. Through TreeHouse School, The Rise School and Ambitious College, we offer specialist education and support.

Our ambition is to make the ordinary possible for children and young people with autism.

Be Ambitious Campaign

One year on, it’s clear that our autistic community have been disproportionately affected by COVID-19

According to recent research by Ambitious about Autism, nearly two thirds (63%) of autistic children and young people’s mental health is worse than before the outbreak of the pandemic. Meanwhile, 80% of families have had support reduced or stopped due to COVID-19.

Over the past 12 months, the charity has been providing hundreds of autistic children and young people and their families with urgent care and support, such as the delivery of food parcels, providing online information and support as well as IT equipment for home learning.

In March 2020 we launched an appeal to manage the short-term and unexpected effects of COVID-19 and our supporters gave generously to help us meet those needs at that critical time. We are now asking for your help again to come together for the ‘Be Ambitious’ Campaign on Sunday 9 and Monday 10 May to raise an ambitious target of £250,000 in 36 hours to continue to be there for autistic children and young people in their hour of need.

Thank you so much for your generosity.
