Now more than ever, in the post-October 7th world, we need connection, unity and a sense of Jewish identity and pride. The world has changed and we all feel it. How do we fight adversity?Strengthening Jewish CommUNITY is the ONLY way.

That’s why we have set an ambitious goal to raise $250,000 in just 36 hours. And, as an extra incentive, a group of generous donors have agreed to DOUBLE every dollar you donate.

Already over the past few years, we have expanded our programming and reach to touch more and more Jews of all backgrounds, to provide them with a connection to their own Jewish identity, and share the beauty, vitality, wisdom and meaning that Jewish values afford us. 

We’re a dynamic organization. We believe Judaism is a life-long journey of growth where every step is relevant and meaningful, so we work hard to provide a variety of settings and opportunities, both educational and experiential, where each person can find their unique path and experience Jewish living at their own pace according to their areas of interest.

And, since October 7th, we’ve stepped up to do even more. We've added new initiatives like unity Shabbat Dinners and Shabbatons, and a sold-out classical concert to raise money for evacuated families in Israel. We took one of the first solidarity trips to volunteer in Israel and, together with local community members, we have helped spearhead a grassroots initiative to provide more than 5,000 warm Shabbat dinners every week for soldiers on or near the front lines.

Now more than ever, it’s critical that we continue expanding so we can reach more Jewish families and singles in the Greater Washington area and beyond, but, we can only do it with your support. The time for UNITY is now!
