A Beacon of Light
Brightening hearts, brightening worlds.

During a medical crisis, Bikur Cholim of Manhattan is that BEACON OF LIGHT, radiating warmth and providing a glimmer of hope with compassionate care and assistance to ease the challenging moments. 

BCM provides to patients and their families, whether from Manhattan or around the world, beautifully appointed, warm and welcoming accommodations in our six apartments located in the heart of Manhattan near Mount Sinai East and Mount Sinai West. Our volunteers assist with every need to help each person feel secure and comfortable.

BCM also distributes worldwide, with discretion and much due diligence, hundreds of thousands of dollars annually to cover financial expenses for health needs, including doctor appointments, medical procedures, counseling and therapy sessions.

Our 100 percent volunteer staff also provides visits and advocacy for hospital patients, programs for senior citizens and food packages for those who find it difficult to acquire and prepare their own food.

With financial requests coming in daily and our apartments in such high demand, your generous contribution will help us continue our mission and meet our campaign goals.
