The Manchester community Eruv recently celebrated its 10th Anniversary! In the years preceding its inception, tremendous efforts were made by pioneering committee members in raising the funds needed to build and maintain the Eruv. 

The Eruv was built to an extremely high standard using long lasting and quality materials. The Committee are indebted to the local authorities and their subsidiaries in facilitating the Eruv build and constant maintenance. 

The Eruv is proud to have the outstanding support and seal of Hechsher from the Manchester Beth Din and are fortunate to have Rabbi Avigdor Grossberger Shlita who leads the Rabbinical team ensuring the Kashrus of the Eruv is right - whatever the circumstances. He is ably supported by the Eruv Lead Project Manager - Moshe Katz who with his extensive knowledge of Eruv construction and local authority know how, provides quality and cost effective solutions to all Eruv repairs and builds. 

We are now embarking on a one off fundraiser drive to raise capital sums in order to pay for vital sweeping extensions, a grand refurbishment of our existing structures and for essential training of new Rabbonim ensuring outstanding Hashgocho of the Eruv at all times. 

We know how much the Eruv is cherished by all of the community - young and old. We know how much the Eruv is valued by so many families that use it week in week out. We have a target of £320,000 to raise in 36 hours. 

£155,000 for the new extension build areas
£85,000 for the full scale refurbishment of the Eruv
£15,000 for the training of Rabbonim
£25,000 for local authority fees
£40,000 to cover annual deficits

Join us in guaranteeing a successful continuation of the Manchester Community Eruv, building broader boundaries, including more areas, refurbishing our existing structures and ensuring that the Eruv has outstanding Rabbinal Hashgocho for the years to come.
