University Jewish Chaplaincy
University Jewish Chaplaincy knows that the coming academic year will be unusually intense for Jewish students on campuses across the UK.
UJC Chaplains will be at the forefront of settling students whose studies have been interrupted by the pandemic, helping with post-COVID trauma, delivering large-scale hospitality and events, and responding to heightened anti-Israel hostility.
University Jewish Chaplaincy offers vital support to 8500+ Jewish students at over 100 universities in 12 regions and is proud to:

Statement from University Jewish Chaplaincy Chief Strategist and Rabbinic Head, Rabbi Dr Harvey Belovski and CEO, Sophie Dunoff
The past week has been incredibly difficult for Jewish students all around the country, while the conflict in Israel and Gaza has raged.
Chaplains on campuses across the UK are reporting distressing cases of students experiencing appalling antisemitic abuse, both verbal and physical.
The bullying and intimidation of Jewish students is completely unacceptable and must not be tolerated.
Jewish students should not be leaving university and returning home because of antisemitism.
Jewish students should not be maligned or vilified for their faith or support for Israel.
Jewish students should not fear for their safety on British campuses.
Our Chaplains are there, on the ground, providing pastoral support for all Jewish students, day and night. They offer safe spaces and spiritual guidance to our beleaguered students.
Our raison d’etre is to support Jewish students.
Now we need YOU to support US.
Please Step Up for our Students and University Jewish Chaplaincy this Sunday and Monday – we need your support now more than ever.
