Continuing his legacy, Dash provides critical medical and advocacy support to individuals and families across the North East’s Jewish community.

Our mission is simple but vital: to ensure that no one faces a health crisis or hospital stay alone. Whether navigating the NHS, seeking medical equipment, or needing support in a vulnerable moment, Dash is here — with compassion, professionalism, and unwavering dedication.

We offer a range of vital services, including:

  • Expert Medical Advocacy – Our experienced, well-connected medical advocate assists individuals in securing the care and information they need, acting as a guide through complex health systems.

  • Equipment Lending Centre – A fully stocked hub of medical supplies, from wheelchairs to specialty items needed after hospital discharge — all provided free of charge.

  • Shabbos Support in Hospitals – Two hospitals feature our warm, welcoming Shabbos Rooms stocked with food, drinks, seforim, newspapers, and more — a lifeline for those spending Shabbos in hospital. Where Shabbos rooms aren’t accessible, we maintain Shabbos Boxes at strategic locations.

  • Accessible Transport – A wheelchair-accessible car is available for community use at no cost.

  • Rabbinic and Halachic Guidance – Our team of respected Rabbonim offers daily halachic support, ensuring sensitive matters are handled with care and clarity.

  • Crisis and Everyday Support – Whether it’s a medical emergency, a new baby, or just needing help navigating a challenging moment, we’re here — reliably, respectfully, and discreetly.

In many cases, our intervention has literally saved lives, ensuring urgent care is received in time, complex medical issues are properly addressed, and vulnerable individuals are never left to struggle alone.

It is estimated that over 90% of the community has benefited from Dash in some way — a testament to our reach and the essential role we play in local life.
