Since opening our doors in 2017, we’ve built a place where young people who once felt overlooked and lost in the system, now feel seen and valued. A school where children who were excluded from the classrom, can now learn in an engaging and purposeful way. Children who never had friends are forming bonds for life, and those who were once isolated or ignored, now experience a genuine sense of belonging.

Gesher School is the only Jewish primary and secondary school in the UK dedicated to children with mild to moderate special educational needs and disabilities (SEND), including autism, ADHD, dyslexia, and Down’s syndrome. With specialist teachers and therapists and a deeply nurturing approach, the school has earned three consecutive ‘Outstanding’ ratings from Ofsted and is recognised globally as a model of best practice.

Gesher is more than just a school - it's a lifeline for our children, their families and a beacon of hope in our community and we have the next 36 hours to raise vital funds to help take the next step in our journey.

Your generous support will:

  • enable our specialist team to deliver outstanding education and therapeutic support, to ensure each child will reach their full potential
  • help us develop key learning spaces throughout the school to meet the growing needs of all our learners - places where confidence, capabilities and friendships can blossom
  • allow us to enrich our Life Skills Programme to equip students with the independence they need to succeed far beyond the classroom
