Monday 23rd March changed everything. Early that morning, Hatzola ambulances, vehicles that exist solely to save lives were deliberately targeted here in our own community. This is no longer something happening far away, it is on our streets, and it changes everything. For over a decade, Hatzola Edgware, serving Edgware, Mill Hill and Stanmore, has operated from an unsecured, rented base, and just days ago, instead of responding to emergencies, our priority was to hide ambulances to prevent further attacks. Let that sink in, ambulances that should be saving lives were being hidden, and volunteers who normally respond within minutes, day and night, are now operating under threat, often at night waiting for the next call. This cannot continue. 

We urgently need to build a secure, purpose-built Hatzola Ambulance base in Edgware that will protect our volunteers, secure our life-saving vehicles worth tens of thousands of pounds, strengthen emergency response times, transform training, and ensure every ambulance is fully equipped and ready at all times.
