Immanuel College

Immanuel College strives for excellence in every area- academically, pastorally and in delivering an inspiring Jewish education.
 
We are the only modern Orthodox Independent school in the UK that caters from children from the age of 4 to 18.
 
An Independent school like Immanuel College is essential to the fabric of the UK Jewish community. Under extreme financial pressure, we have succeeded in ‘turning our pupils fears to hope’.
 
 
The challenge going forwards
 
We are all facing extreme challenges due to Covid 19.
 
As a result, every day Immanuel College is investing more than ever to ensure the safety of our pupils and staff, so that we can continue to provide the best educational provision available for Jewish pupils in the UK.
 
Many of our parents businesses have been affected by the virus and as a result they are struggling to meet their commitment to pay full fees.
 
There are significant ongoing costs to make the site COVID safe, which includes additional cleaners, PPE provision, and perspex screens to protect staff and students.
 
In addition, the further financial burden associated with unbudgeted IT costs to enable the College to teach throughout any further potential lockdowns and self-isolation have also created a huge financial issue and have impacted heavily on the financial position of the school.
 
As a result, we are calling on the generosity of our close and extended Immanuel family - from parents and grandparents to pupils, staff and alumni.
 
We will not put our pupils and staff at risk - we will not jeopardise the excellent standards Immanuel sets and we will not allow 'fear to replace hope' as we get on with our core responsibility of educating our pupils in the wonderful environment that is Immanuel College.
