Congregation “Beis Ya’akov Chayim” of Beitar Ilit -
“Moving Up – Together”
15 Years of Challenge – A Once-in-a-Generation Opportunity
Fifteen years have passed since the first pioneers, following the sacred directive of our Rebbe, shlit"a, laid the foundation for our beloved and flourishing community in Beitar Illit. Since then, our community has blossomed into a shining jewel in the crown of Karlin-Stolin—known far and wide as a source of Torah, heartfelt brotherhood, and acts of loving-kindness, impacting countless initiatives and bringing the will of the Tzaddik to life in myriad ways.
The community’s spiritual roots were planted in a modest temporary caravan, where chassidim gathered for Torah and avodah, for friendship and chesed. This early sanctuary bore the name "Beis Yaakov Chaim," honoring the legacy and holy path of the Rebbe, Rabbi Yaakov Chaim, zt"l, the Karlin-Stolin Rebbe in America in the years 1923-1946.
Over the years, as the neighborhood expanded, more families joined and brought with them a spirit of growth and kedusha. Space was gradually added—piece by piece—yet always fell short of accommodating the increasing needs. The time has come to transform the dream into a reality.
A Majestic Home for Our Community
In recent years, with Heavenly assistance, the community has begun building a beautiful, dignified structure to serve all its spiritual and communal needs. Last year, with the framework completed, we received a directive to temporarily inaugurate one floor—enabling more families to join and partake in the sanctity and unique spirit of our community.
Now, with Hashem’s help, we stand at a critical and rare opportunity: to complete and dedicate our building—a majestic home for Torah, for tefillah, for fellowship, and for the future of Beis Aharon v’Yisrael—in accordance with the wishes of our revered Rebbe, shlit"a. Our aspiration is to celebrate the Chanukas HaBayis (inauguration) during the upcoming Chanukah—a celebration of light, hope, and renewal—but to get there, we need the support of every friend and fellow chassid across the globe.
A Legacy of Light – Our Sacred Responsibility
This campaign comes in days around the yahrzeit of the holy Rebbe, Rabbi Yaakov Chaim, zt"l, who left no children of his own. We now declare, from the depths of our hearts:
“Rabbeinu HaKadosh — We are your children!
We carry your torch of Torah, of avodah, of love and kindness.”
We unite to establish a living legacy — a name and a sanctuary in his honor, where his memory will be eternally engraved in the House of Hashem.
In this expansive building, now nearing completion, the holy work of Torah, prayer, kindness, and friendship will continue in the pure and radiant path of the Rebbe, Rav Yaakov Chayim zt”l, and all of our chassidic forebears, zy”a.
A Call to Action – Help Us Cross the Finish Line
The Beis Yaakov Chaim community turns to every friend and supporter with heartfelt urgency:
“Dearest friends, we are just steps away from the moment we have dreamed of for over 15 years — the inauguration of our spiritual home.
For over a decade, our congregation has been without a permanent home — our children and adolescents without a place inside the shul, and our families without a spiritual center to meet their needs.
We now appeal to you:
Help us take the final steps. Help us complete and dedicate this House of Life — a home for generations to come.”
