Kisharon is a uniquely Jewish organisation which supports children and adults with complex learning disabilities and their families throughout life’s journey. From nursery, through school and into independent living accommodation and employment opportunities, no other organisation plays such a unique and critical role in our community.
“Kisharon has been a life saver for Tali and us, just knowing there is a school and community around the corner with such high-quality teaching and learning facilities and a very strong Jewish Ethos has made the journey with Tali so much easier. We know that she will be supported throughout her entire life from school to adulthood as well as supported living should the need arise.” The Rose Family
Chronic underfunding is set to remain for social care services for our learning-disabled community and rapidly rising inflation and utility bills means funding pressures will be greater than ever. Whilst we appreciate that this has an adverse impact on every one of us, it is the most vulnerable members of society who undoubtedly suffer the most.
As such, it is our responsibility to bridge this all-important funding gap of £2.2 million required to fund essential SEN and Learning Disability services for the children and adults supported by Kisharon.
When you champion, we thrive! Thank you for supporting Kisharon.
