 Kollel Binyan Simcha was founded in Manchester 18 years ago to address a pressing need. Accomplished Kollel yungerleit were reluctant to leave behind the top-level of learning they had engaged in whilst in Eretz Yisroel. A Dream in the making: Kollel Binyan Simcha was founded in Manchester 18 years ago to address a pressing need. Accomplished Kollel yungerleit were reluctant to leave behind the top-level of learning they had engaged in whilst in Eretz Yisroel. The dream was to establish a learning environment of the highest calibre, perceived until then to rarely be found outside of Eretz Yisroel.

The Kollel was established in Adas Yeshurun shul, with the core group supported in memory of Hechover R’ Simcha Binyomin Bamberger z”l. The Kollel attracts mature Talmidei Chachomim bringing a formidable fusion of mature yet excited, focused yet energetic rischa d’Oraysa, with the Bnei HaKollel completely devoted to their learning, to the exclusion of all other pursuits.

Absolute means Absolute

Absolute devotion to Torah in the spirit of top-notch Kollelim in Eretz Yisroel means there are no distraction  For the Avreich in Kollel Binyan Simcha, Torah is a constant. Many yungerleit spend their entire day - 9:30am to 7:00pm - engrossed in learning, with no Bein Hasedorim.

Alumni 

Alumni have taken up leading positions in Yeshivos, in Rabbonus or in Chinuch in the UK and across the globe. Whether it is to head another Kollel, serve as Rav of a Kehilla, as a maggid shiur or school principal, the impact of the d’mus of a truly accomplished Talmid Chochom cannot be overstated.
