Atopic dermatitis - who are you?

Thousands of Jews in Israel and around the world  suffer from Atopic Dermatitis(Also known as - Eczema).
The initial damage of the disease is to the skin - itching, sores and rashes that cover the body and cause great suffering, but the secondary damage is broader and includes damage to the emotional and functional development of the patient and the entire family. The patient experiences social rejection, frustrations, sleepless nights due to the itching, and all this affects him both emotionally and physically.

Kumi Uri - The Israeli Association for Atopic Dermatitis - Who are we?

The association, which was founded in 2014 with the aim of improving the health and quality of life of the patients, serves since and until today as a unifying community for over 7,000 atopic dermatitis patients and their families and is the only organization in Israel that helps these patients.

Right Here and now! Lend a hand!

After ten full years of working for atopic dermatitis patients, we will all unite for the great partnership campaign of "Kumi Uri" - the Israeli Association for Atopic Dermatitis.

Together, hand in hand, we can influence the future of the action need to be taken, the future of the children and the future of the families who face the constant challenge.

Ten fingers that the association offers to every applicant with love -

  1. General information - everyone who applies to the association receives an information brochure about the disease and methods of treatment.
  2. Personal counselling - the association has trained coaches for individual and tailored guidance.
  3. Newsletter - information, articles, recipes for allergies and more. Professional and up-to-date content straight to your email.
  4. Guides for the educational staff - information and guidance for the staff, so that even in kindergarten and in the classroom, the child does not cope alone!
  5. Davos Summer camp - under unique conditions, with tailored treatment and lots of experience - the children come back new.
  6. Fun days - Shabbatons / Chol Hamoed outings / respite activities, and our hand is open for new beneficial activities.
  7. Webinars - delivered professionally facilitating knowledge and the most updated research by expert doctors
  8. Promotion of rights – through advocacy with the relevant government ministries, the National Insurance and the Kupot Cholim (The national health system).
  9. Atopic Pharm - the association’s online store that will very soon be opened. Selected products at affordable prices.
  10. Time of war – providing emotional empowerment, coping tools, aid packages for soldiers and families.
