Dorothy House isn’t just a place or collection of services. It’s a lifeline. A community.

Our Life Lines Appeal aims to raise £350,000 to ensure that care, compassion, and connection are always there—when and where people need it most.

 

At Dorothy House, we believe every life is incredibly precious, and no-one should face death alone.

We provide palliative and end of life care to a population of over 593,000 people in Bath & North East Somerset, and parts of Somerset and Wiltshire.

Our expert staff include doctors, nurses, therapists, carers and counsellors, who will see patients at home, in a clinic setting or in a care home. All of our services are provided free of charge, when and where they are most needed. Over 90% of our care takes places in patient’s homes or in community settings. We are the only specialist providers of end of life care for adults in this area. We currently care for more than 4,200 people each year. But we must do more.

 

We need to help more people, and to do that we need your support. People across our community are facing death every day and by being part of our ground-breaking Life Lines Appeal, you will help make this a reality.
