חבורת מרגליות איז א חבורה סטאנציאנירט אין די מאה שערים געגענט אין ירושלים עיה"ק. פאר בחורים וואס קומען גולה זיין למקום התורה, אין די ריינע אוירא דארץ ישראל, און זוכן א פלאץ ריין פון די פראסטע גאס, זיך צו קענען אויסטוהן פון די וועלט, און זיך איינטינקען אין די לויטערע וואסערן פון די תורה הקדושה.

די חבורה איז נתייסד געווארן דורך אונזער געטרייע ראש החבורה הרה"ג ישראל ארי' מרגליות שליט"א, נאכן צוזעהן די גרויסע געברויך פאר א ווארעמע פלאץ ווי בחורים אין ארץ ישראל זאלן קענען פילן באקוועם, און געניסן פון תורת ארץ ישראל, אן דארפן מורה האבן פון ווערן נאכגעשלעפט פון די היינטיגע טעכנעלאגישע נסיונת אין די יצר ותחבילותיו ר"ל.

אין די באלד צוויי יאר זינט די חבורה שטייט בע"ה, האט זי זיך קונה שם געוועהן אלס איינע פון די בעסטע חבורות אין ירושלים פאר חוץ לארצ'דיגע בחורים וואס זענען שוין אויסגעוואקסן די ישיבה מסגרת אין חוץ לארץ, אין קומען זיך אריינווארפן באוהלה של תורה אין ארה"ק, מיט א זעלטענע דיבוק חברים, וואס סימבאליזירט דעם "אין התורה ניקנית אלא בחבורה".

די חבורה איז נישט נאר א פלאץ ווי די בחורים קומען און לערנען, נאר עס דינט אויך ווי א צווייטע היים פאר די בחורים, ווי א בחור קען אייביג טרעפן א ווארעמע פלאץ צו פארברענגען אין די שעות חוץ פון די סדרי הלימוד. צום ביישפיל ליל שישי, אדער די שבתים, ווען די בחורים קומען יעדע שבת דאווענען בצוותא חדא, און עס ווערט צוגעשטעלט א קידושא רבא שבת אינדערפרי נאכן דאווענען. אדער די גאר ווארימע מלוה מלכה'ס יעדע מוצאי שבת. און ספעציעל די ימים טובים, ווי חנוכה, ט"ו בשבט, פורים און שבועות, - ווען א בחור אין ארץ ישראל קען זיך צומאל טרעפן ווי אליין אויפן וואסער - שטעלט די חבורה צו גאר שיינע סעודות, אז די בחורים זאלן האבן א שמחת יום טוב ווי עס פאסט.

עס איז פארשטענדליך אז אויפהאלטן אזא מקום תורה שלעפט אריין אין געוואלדיגע הוצאות. על כן ווענדן מיר זיך צו אייך חשוב'ע נדיבים בעם, צו אנטייל נעמען אין די הרמת קרן התורה. און אין דעם זכות זאל אייך הקב"ה צוריק צאלן בכפלי כפליים, מיט אריכות ימים ושנים טובים מתוך בריאות הגוף ושלות הנפש וכל מילי דמיטב, עד ביאת גואל צדק בב"א.

Chabiras Margulies is a chabira located in the Meah She’arim vicinity of Yerushalayim Ir Hakodesh. It was established for bachurim coming to learn and bask in the holy avira d’Eretz Yisroel, searching for a haven of purity – unadulterated by the effects of the outside streets; wherein to immerse themselves in the pure waters of the Torah Hakdoshah.

This Chabirah was founded by our devoted Rosh Chaburah Harav Hagaon R’ Yisroel Aryeh Margulies Shlita, after acknowledging the dire need for a warm enclave where bachurim can be self-motivated to excel in learning and to aspire for more. The Rosh Chaburah’s dream was to establish a Makom Torah in Eretz Yisroel with an environment where bachurim will feel at ease and be able to absorb Toras Eretz Yisroel, without the fear of being pulled into today’s nisyonos of technology and other Atzas Hayetzer.

In the close to two years since its founding, Chabiras Margulies has earned itself a sterling reputation as a place with a strong Kol Torah during all hours of the day and night, a place where bachurim who join shteig on a daily basis, a place that is pure of outside influences. Thus, Chabiras Margulies has come to be one of the best chabiros in Yerushalayim for bachurim coming from overseas who have graduated the yeshivah system in chutz laaretz, and have come to throw themselves into the אהלה של תורה, along with a solid companionship that epitomizes “"אין התורה ניקנית אלא בחבורה.

The Chaburah is not only a place where the bachurim come to learn, but it also serves as a second home for them; a warm environment where a bachur can spend time during those hours outside of the seder halimud, for example the beautiful Leili Shishi, the Shabbosim where the bachurim come to daven together and are presented with a kidusha rabba after the morning tefilla, as well as the weekly warm melava malkos.  Especially on the yomim tovim – Chanukah, Tu Bshvat, Purim, Shavuos - when a bachur in Eretz Yisroel can sometimes feel stranded and alone; the chabura provides lavish seudos so that the bachurim feel a true simchas yom tov.

Understandably, maintaining a Makom Torah of this caliber is a costly expense.  Therefore, we turn to you our dear friends and acquaintances to take part in this הרמת קרן התורה.
