About

In 2015, Machon Horaah L'Rabbanim, led by HaRav Shraga Kallus שליט"א and Harav Binyomin Hollander שליט"א, opened its doors to provide communities worldwide with the highest calibre scholars, whose competency and thorough knowledge across the spectrum of halacha would ensure highly capable, responsible and much needed rabbanim and poskim.

HaRav Shraga Kallus שליט"א is a renowned Rosh Kollel, rav, public speaker and posek who had שימוש by Harav Elyashiv זצוק"ל, Harav Sheinberg זצוק"ל and Harav Moshe Shternbuch שליט"א, among others. His shiurim on Torah Anytime have a worldwide audience across the religious spectrum.

Harav Binyomin Hollander שליט"א is an esteemed dayan & posek in Yerushalayim and noted co-author of many seforim including the Dirshu משנה ברורה.

8 years later, the kollel has gained a reputation as a foremost halacha kollel and is highly sought after by serious, goal-oriented avreichim. The kollel's unique combination of shiurim which define complicated sugyas and their relevance to modern day situations, the dedicated avreichim driven by their passion for halacha and the rigorous thorough testing on every topic and sugya with chazora and semicha tests, with individual guidance, ensures unparalleled accomplishment for every talmid.

The beis medrash is a blend of Ashkenazi, Sfardi, Chassidish and Litvish voices, each contributing his individual accent to create a diverse but unified kol Torah.

The kollel, which currently has 40 avreichim, has to date learned and received semicha on hilchos Shabbos, Brochos and Bossor B'cholov.

Over the past few years these accomplishments have allowed our alumni to become successful rabbonim, maggidei shiur, sofrim, mohelim and poskim in communities around the world. Our avreichim have published over 20 Hebrew and English halacha publications.

In the 8 years since it's inception, Machon Horaah L'Rabbonim has always paid on time, allowing for the peace of mind needed to succeed. In light of the rising cost of living and deflated foreign currency we would like to raise our current stipend by 30%. But for that, we must reach our target to enable us to realistically facilitate it.

This kollel's goal is to provide for the needs of the klal, but for that we need you.
