Osim Sameach: Bringing Comfort to Body and Soul
Mission Statement: Hospitals are intimidating and isolating experiences. Even patients with strong support systems often find themselves alone, confused, and scared. Osim Sameach enters this environment with a simple purpose—to alleviate that anxiety with the joys and comforts of home. 
What We Do: Osim Sameach’s thousands of volunteers work twenty-four/seven in hospitals throughout Israel, pushing specialized carts that offer everything from coffee and muffins to pizza and warm soup. But our work does not end with food. We organize parties for sick children, provide in-hospital self-care treatments to cancer patients, and play music for injured soldiers, among other things. In short, we strive to think of everything that might bring comfort to patients. From the harried mother who rushed her child to the emergency room to the cardiac patient who is a hospital regular, Osim Sameach is there to help.  
Nothing can fully remove the pain and anxiety of a hospital stay. However, through Osim Sameach, we are able to ensure patients and their families receive the support they need to heal both body and soul.
