People in our local community with life-limiting and terminal illness need your help.
We may have weathered the immediate threat of the COVID-19 pandemic, but St Wilfrid’s Hospice nurses, doctors and care teams are dealing with the aftermath of the biggest challenge we have ever seen.
Our expert clinical teams are supporting more patients in crisis, patients with complex treatment needs, and younger patients with terminal diagnoses. It’s feared that up to 50,000 people in the UK may have had missed cancer diagnoses during the pandemic. These far-reaching effects of COVID-19 will affect end of life care in our community for months and years to come.
It costs over £8m per year to provide Hospice services, free of charge, to local people and their loved ones who desperately need us. Will you be a Hospice Hero by donating whatever you can afford today, to help reach our fundraising target?
Donations made during our 35 hour charity challenge will be doubled by our generous match funders!
THANK YOU for making a difference to local lives today. We can’t do it without you.
