The continuous rise in the cost of living, 
the great demand, and the ever-increasing number of requests, has inspired us to actuate a campaign to help these needy families. We are therefore launching this campaign:
 Kimcha Depischa 5783  
Specified for those studying Torah, and for large, needy families.
 
This year’s campaign is dedicated to the memory 
of our holy father, the crown of our family,
the gaon and tzaddik, Rabbi David Bussu, zt”l, 
son-in-law of the famed and saintly Baba Sali, zy”a.
 
There is no doubt that his merit, and the merit of all our ancestors of the famed Abichatzeira family, zy”a, will stand by the side of all those who contribute and help these families – to merit all the salvations and a happy, healthy and kosher Pesach.
 
Doing so will also ensure that you will fulfill the obligation of keeping the ancient and important custom of buying food to distribute and provide the needy will their Pesach needs 
(Rama and Pri Megadim to Orach Chaim 629)
It should be noted that the Pri Megadim writes that one who shirks his responsibility of giving according to his means, and leaves the poor in a state of need and sadness is committing a great sin, for the needy are anxiously awaiting and relying on these contributions.
