This year has been an exceptionally difficult year for the Ukrainian‘s, and especially for these special yiddshe kinderlach, who lost their only sense of what a home is.

Camp Yeka

 

Each year Camp Yeka turns into a home for Jewish boys from disadvantaged and poverty stricken backgrounds. Many of the children are orphaned or come from abusive homes.

This Year has been very challenging for our boys back in Ukraine who have had to endure the horrors of spending time in bomb shelters, fleeing from their homes and leaving everything that was familiar behind.  

However one thing that remains after all the destruction is Camp Yeka, a safe haven filled with warmth, fun, care and  Yiddishkite!  Providing a glimmer of light where the kids can be freed of all their worries and more than anything just be happy jewish kids. 

This year we are running back to back camps in Hungary and Israel for over 220 Refugees the biggest camp in Yeka’s history! 

 

We have set a goal of raising $120,000 to cover the costs of this years summer camps which includes the cost of the campgrounds, food, flights for the camp counsellors and amazing trips.

 

Your show of support and generosity WILL MAKE all the difference in building a home away from home and giving our boys the gift of a summer.
