Our hearts broken, our tears won’t run dry. With incredible heartache and pain we have lost our dearest most beloved chaver- Lipa z”l. 
It seems wrong and inappropriate to refer to Lipa in past tense. It makes no sense. There are no words, there are no explanations other than that השם נתן והשם לקח. 
It’s no exaggeration to say the Lipa z”l was everyone’s best friend. To everyone - young, old, sick and infirm, family and guests to town - Lipa z”l was their best friend. Lipa z”l was the first to offer his help in any situation - always putting the needs of others before his own. The first to help make a kiddish, a simcha, a ride, a helping hand. 
Of course we all know of Lipa’s z”l wonderful ability to sing and play guitar at events and occasions. Many of these times he did this for free because he knew what it meant to the institution and faculty to be able to perform at short notice. And what a pleasure it was to hear him singing with all his heart, with all his rich yiddishe erlicher neshomo….
To the multitudes of ill patients in hospital and those stranded at home in poor health - Lipa z”l was their angel. He would come in at the drop of a hat and perform for them and not leave until they were feeling uplifted and somewhat better. Scores of  patients were able to be at peace in the days and sometimes hours before leaving this world having had Lipa play beautifully for them at their time of need. 

Lipa z”l was a wonderful husband, a most doting and devoted father, a dedicated and caring son, a hartzig and loving sibling and to us - Lipa was our best friend - our ever present chaver, our good cheer and our positive energy. 

Lipa leaves behind an Almonoh and 5 young Yesomim, together we will cry together we will mourn and share theirs and our pain and together we will raise the funds needed to keep his dear wife and children financially secure.
