It's been my honour and great privilege to be the National President of Beit Halochem Canada, Aid to Disabled Veterans of Israel for over 23 years. Without its injured veterans there would not be an Israel. It is our moral obligation to support the men and women who have given so much of themselves to protect Israel for us all.

Simple... Those who have served and suffered protecting Israel and enabling Jews worldwide to stand tall and proud deserve our full support in their time of need having sustained injuries whether through battle or terror and requiring rehabilitation in the finest world class institutions which Beit Halochem provides.

As you may know, my family is passionate about this organization which is committed to rehabilitating, rebuilding and enhancing the lives of over 50,000 Israelis who have become disabled in the line of duty or as victims of terror. Beit Halochem Centers in Israel provide specialized sports, therapeutic, cultural and recreational programs to its members and their families.

This year, Beit Halochem Canada is launching a global crowdfunding initiative, TIKVAH.

Reflecting on the state of the world today, I question what makes us do what we do.
So much goes around us that we cannot control.....in health, the world, our communities. One thing that remains steadfast for me is my devotion to Israel & Beit Halochem. As we know, there's not much to celebrate these days, but I am proud to say that I'm celebrating my 26th year as part of the Beit Halochem community. My work to help our veterans & victims of terror is still & has been an honor & labor of love.
