Rabbi Kupetz zt'l run by the Kupetz family and Alex Pfeffer

לעילוי נשמת מורינו הרב ר' שלום משה בן הרב ר' אברהם זצ"ל

Dedicated in memory of Rabbi Moshe Kupetz zt’l.

Rabbi Kupetz was one of our Trustees and was always there in the background, supporting the school and readily available for advice and guidance whenever we needed it.  He was a regular visitor to our school and often spoke at assemblies and other events. He was involved in Chinuch in this town for most of his life and as a mark of our respect for him we would like to raise enough money to name the Beis Hamedrash in his memory.

Rabbi Pearlman run by Uri Pawlowski

I am writing as page manager for Rabbi Yehuda Pearlman, the Principal/ Headteacher of Broughton Jewish Primary School, a school which both I attended and now my children attend. Under his leadership the school continues to shape the lives of new generations of children today, true to the traditions of its founding fathers 75 years ago.

It is an honour and privilege for me to be taking part in supporting this wonderful school and having grown tremendously over the last 15 years to over 500 pupils, we are embarking on several important capital projects to cater for the growing numbers of children.

Please help us to raise £750,000 and help this wonderful school continue to flourish and play such a vital and central role in our community.

Many thanks for your help!

Family Caplan

We are trying to raise monies in remembrance of our beloved husband and daddy, David ע״ה. I have worked at Broughton Jewish for 25 years and our boys were and our grandchildren are pupils there.
David fully supported BJPS and was proud of the excellent Secular and Kodesh education and the devoted care that the children receive.
As part of this exciting campaign BJPS are setting up a new Beis Hamedrash and we would like to dedicate the Bimah in memory of Dovid Noach ben Yaakov ע״ה. We are making a family donation and any donation you are able to make will be most gratefully received.
Any donation will be matched and together with Gift Aid will provide extra funds towards enhancing the facilities in School.
Education and Shul life were great passions of David's and the Bimah would be a fitting tribute to him, helping to forge the Jewish identities of future generations, so that they can grow up to make positive contributions to both the Jewish and wider community, all things that were so important to David.
Thanking you for your time and support.
May we only share Simchas!

Broughton Jewish Cassel Fox Primary School started as a small cheder class of eight pupils in 1946 and today has 500 pupils on the roll.

The most striking feature of Broughton Jewish is how the School has stayed so true to the principles of its founding fathers.

In the aftermath of the Holocaust, Broughton Jewish’s founders were determined to set up a school which would be built firmly on the principles of Torah im derech eretz and at the same time, would ensure that each child’s individual needs were catered for following the principle of chanoch l’naar al pi darko.

The warmth and happiness of the children is immediately obvious when visiting the School. There are so many smiles to greet you as you walk along the corridors of Broughton Jewish. The School are extremely proud of the high standards of the pupils in both Kodesh and Secular subjects but what it is most proud of is the beautiful Midos Tovos of the children.

The School has grown exponentially over the last 15 years and in order to continue to deliver a quality Kodesh education, it needs to raise funds to supplement the income it receives form voluntary contributions.

As part of it’s expansion and development, Broughton Jewish is also now raising funds for 3 large capital projects. Firstly, we are building a specially designed Learning Hub. Included in this Learning Hub will be a sensory room, and therapy rooms for children to have Speech and Language Therapy, music therapy, art therapy and play therapy. All of this of this will be designed with those founding principles at heart: every child matters and every child deserves to be the best they can be.

Secondly, we are building a Beis Hamedrash. This will allow the children to combine all the learning that goes on with an attachment at an early age to the world of Torah and the Beis Hamedrash. The Beis Hamedrash has been carefully designed with this in mind and we are very excited to add this to the children’s wonderful experience here at Broughton Jewish.

Thirdly, we are building desperately needed new outdoor play areas throughout the school so that we can rebuild the outdoor provisions for each year group up to Year One and for the main school playground.

Please help us to reach our goal by donating to this campaign and your donation will be matched by our generous matchers.
