Bikurei Yosef is a unique Kollel in Eretz Yisroel that is dedicated to learning all practical aspects of kashrus halachos, including hilchos shechita, treifos, signs of taharah in animals, and nikkur. These subjects are studied by a group of select avrechim, with the aim of them becoming the next generation’s teachers of these halachos.

The Kollel is led by the world-renowned author of Sefer Sichas Chulin, R’ Amitay Bendavid. This sefer is famous for its clear illustrations and detailed explanations of all complex issues in Maseches Chulin. The sefer makes this difficult masechta accessible for many people around the world.

What sets this kollel apart is that it includes practical experience with the learning. The Rosh Kollel gives the avrechim live demonstrations in nikkur, treifos and shechita, allowing them to learn these subjects in depth. The kollel also gives shiurim to many moisdos around Eretz Yisroel, following its dream of producing teachers of the next generation.

ביכורי יוסף הוא כולל ייחודי בארץ ישראל המוקדש ללימוד כל ההיבטים המעשיים של הלכות הכשרות, לרבות הלכות שחיטה, טריפות, סימני טהרה בבעלי חיים וניקור. מקצועות אלו נלמדים על ידי קבוצת אברכים מובחרים, במטרה שהם יהיו מורי הדור הבא להלכות אלו.

את הכולל מוביל מחבר ספר שיחת חולין בעל השם העולמי, הרב אמיתי בן דויד. ספר זה מפורסם באיוריו הברורים ובהסברים המפורטים של כל הנושאים המורכבים .במסכת חולין. הספר מנגיש את המסכת הקשה הזו עבור אנשים רבים ברחבי העולם.

מה שמייחד את הכולל הזה הוא שהוא כולל התנסות מעשית בלימוד. ראש הכולל מעביר לאברכים הדגמות חיות בניקור, שחיטה וטריפות, המאפשרות להם ללמוד את הנושאים הללו לעומק. כמו כן מעניק הכולל שיעורים למוסדות רבות ברחבי ארץ ישראל, בעקבות שאיפתו להעמיד את מורי הדור הבא.
