Qui sommes-nous ?

Girls at BYJHS embrace Yiddishkeit and live their lives with Torah, Avodah and Gemilus Chassadim. Shacharis and mincha are taken seriously, and encouraged with Tefilla lessons and inspiration. Lessons on Chumash, Parsha, Pirkei Ovos, Halocho, Nach and Toldos Yisroel teach hashkofos haChaim and encourage the girls to think about their Yiddishkeit. Our girls are outstanding within the Manchester community for the chessed that they do across a broad spectrum of kehillah organisations.

Our broad and balanced curriculum provides for every girl's individual needs and ensure that all pupils reach their highest possible standards in both Kodesh and chol.

We inculcate our girls with a love of Torah, halacha and mitzvos.

We promote a strong sense of social responsibility as fundamental to all aspects of life.

We help our girls develop self-esteem, resilience, confidence and ambition.

We prepare our girls for future life through a combination of academic knowledge and development of transferable skills such as teamwork, leadership, organisation, study skills and time management, all through Torah hashkofos.

We build strong partnerships with parents in order to work together toward our students’ success and happiness in school and beyond.
