Mother to Mother’s core aim is to promote and protect the physical and mental wellbeing of postnatal women and their families. We do this by ensuring that every mother receives compassionate, culturally appropriate support during the early postnatal period.
Our aims include reducing isolation, improving emotional and physical recovery after birth, and strengthening family stability before challenges escalate. We provide nutritious meals, practical guidance and a listening ear so that mothers feel supported, confident and connected at a vulnerable time.
We also aim to build a strong, inclusive and resilient community. Volunteers of all ages and backgrounds come together to cook and deliver meals, forming meaningful relationships and reducing loneliness. Many former beneficiaries return as volunteers, creating a positive cycle of peer support and community ownership.
Finally, we aim to ensure that mothers remain connected to trusted support networks. Through shared purpose and shared care, our project brings families and volunteers together, helping to build a more connected, compassionate community.
