Chazak is a Sephardic outreach organization that strengthens the community by educating, inspiring, and engaging all types of Jews with an authentic offering of Jewish wisdom culture, and values.

There has always been a vast need for Sephardic programming catering to young groups and professionals. Chazak creates an inviting yet serious environment to think, grow, and pray. We have built bridges to work in collaboration with other community-based organizations, schools, and synagogues, inspiring thousands of Jews with loyalty and pride, instilling in them a commitment to our culture, heritage and continuity.

We appeal to all ages across the community with content that is engaging and interactive, ensuring that age-old and sacred traditions find resonance with current 21st Century Jews who are living in the modern world.

To date, thousands of Jews continue to be enriched in the Los Angeles community and the world over with verve and inimitable passion from Chazak LA's in-person classes and social media presence.

WHO IS CHAZAK LA?

Rabbi Ari Bensoussan - Director Chazak LA City - World-renowned speaker and teacher who moved from Israel to LA two years ago. Rabbi Ari is following his dream and calling to inspire the LA community! After delivering hundreds of classes, countless hours of tailor-making specific groups, and connecting with thousands of individuals that have attended classes and events, Chazak LA is a platform to grow the community's connection to Hashem and each other. Let’s keep the Torah in LA growing!! 

Rabbi Meir Sultan - Director Chazak LA, Valley - A beloved Mohel and community leader. Rabbi Meir works tirelessly for his community. Most recently the newest and most daring endeavor of Chazak, the Chazak Community Bet Medrash and learning center opened its doors this year and has already served a vital role in the Valley Village community.
