Mikveh Eishes Chayil - Central Hendon Mikvah - is an essential North-West London Jewish communal facility. It has been used more than 50,000 times since it opened in 2015 and now further vital refurbishment, enhancement and upgrading works are necessary to ensure that the highest of aesthetic and hygienic standards are maintained.

We spare no effort to maintain the highest of standards, in every possible way and are gratified by the feedback we received from clientele in respect of the warm, welcoming and reinvigorating ambience which is experienced by those who make use of our Mikvah. Even though users are asked to contribute to the Mikvah (although no-one is turned away on grounds of inability to pay), donations by the 400+ users each month do not fully cover operating costs and there is an inevitable annual shortfall which needs to be covered, alongside essential capital and upgrade costs.

We are taught that Mikvah ‘enjoys priority over building a Shul, purchasing a Sefer Torah or any other Mitzvah’. We are therefore reaching out to request support for what is only our second matched-funding appeal in just over ten years to ensure that our Mikvah can continue operating to optimum standards and perpetuate Jewish family life in the purest, most spiritual and sacred way.
