He was a ‘Bnon Shel Kedoshim’ - the son of the world renowned Gateshead / Lakewood Mashgiach R’ Mattisyohu זצ"ל, and son-in-law of יבלחט"א Hagaon R’ Avrohom Yehoshua Ehrentreu שליט"א.

In his role as revered Mashgiach in Sunderland Yeshiva he brought out the very best in the Bochurim, who were drawn to his genuine sweetness of spirit and kindly smile. He pushed his Talmidim to excel, urged them to do even better and even saved Neshomos.

R’ Moshe’s family – the Almona and Yesomim – are now left with the difficult task of rebuilding following a number of excruciating years during which he valiantly fought illness. Although the Areivim programme will defray the chasuna costs of his unmarried children Bez”H, Areivim's new inititive to suppiort the family has not yet been set up and the burden of daily living expenses need to be covered. We turn to you, רחמנים בני רחמנים, to support his beloved family so that they can look to the future with hope and dignity.
