Beis Hamedrash Zichron Yehoshua, fondly known as “Elbogen’s”, is a truly unique shul - one of a kind in the entire Romema area of Yerushalayim.
Led by our esteemed Rav, HaRav Shloime Zalman Elbogen Shlita, the shul was established over eight years ago and is renowned for the special atmosphere that can be sensed the moment one walks through its doors.
Our Kehilla is comprised of yungerleit from the USA, Canada, the UK, Europe, and Australia, who come together with an unbelievable achdus not felt anywhere else. Chasidish, Heimish, Yeshivish, and everyone in between have made this place their home - their base for Avodas Hashem and Ahavas Chaveirim on the highest level.
The geshmake Shabbos davening, with a real bren, together with the pearls of wisdom and words of chizuk we hear from the Rov each week during Kiddush and Shalosh Seudos, fuel the entire week ahead. They provide unmatched inspiration that uplifts every yungerman and his family in many areas of life.
Every single yungerman can say with certainty that this shul has positively impacted his life, elevating his years of learning in Eretz Yisroel.
Having a Kehilla that feels like family - where everyone is welcomed with a smile, cared for, and looked after - is an anchor of security and stability that cannot be found elsewhere.
Over the past year, however, the shul has encountered financial challenges that hinder our ability to continue. We have now reached the point where we must reach out in order to ensure that our doors can remain open, providing this unique and vital lifeline for our yungerleit.
We turn to you to help support our shul - investing not only in the tremendous zchusim of the davening and learning, but in the entire elevated week that is generated by the electrifying atmosphere within these walls.
With deep appreciation, we extend our sincere gratitude for your generosity and partnership in sustaining our Beis Hamedrash.
