Britain is a country that prides itself on tolerance and diversity, but right now, extremism is rife and Jews are afraid. That’s why our community needs Campaign Against Antisemitism (CAA).
With antisemitism at levels we haven’t seen in Britain in living memory, CAA has been working around the clock, bringing private prosecutions, holding the criminal justice authorities and political parties to account, pressuring broadcasters, supporting students on campus, engaging in countless media appearances, putting antisemitism on the front pages, conducting vital polling to inform national policy, sending teams to gather evidence and expose the hate at the regular hostile protests in our cities, leading the fight against antisemitism on social media, running billboard and digital van campaigns to raise awareness of the hostages, supporting an unprecedented number of victims, delivering educational sessions, holding public events and demonstrations and organising the huge March Against Antisemitism to give voice to the community.
A year and a half on from 7th October, it is clear that the Hamas ideology that inspired the attacks in Israel has also taken root here in Britain. We see it in our polling, which revealed shocking levels of sympathy with Hamas among young people, and in our exposure of the hate on the regular marches. We see it as we lead the response to Hamas’ application to get deproscribed as a terrorist organisation in the UK. We see it in our work identifying individuals such as the Hamas-affiliated operative who arrived in Britain by dinghy, putting the story on the front pages and securing his arrest, conviction and imprisonment.
So many of you like what we do at CAA and believe it’s the right thing. We know because you’ve told us. We know because you turn to us.
But we need to scale up our work.
Continuing the fight against antisemitism is critical to our future as British Jews living by British values. The moment we stop fighting is the moment we lose.
That’s why we’re asking you to back the organisation that has a proven track record of success.
Only with your support can the fight go on. We need you to #FundTheFight.
Every donation will be doubled.
Thank you for your support!
What is Campaign Against Antisemitism?
CAA is a registered charity dedicated to exposing and countering antisemitism through education and zero-tolerance enforcement of the law. We operate nationally, with volunteers across the entire country. It is the support of people like you that makes the work that we do possible, so that we can identify those responsible for antisemitic crime and bring criminal, regulatory, or other legal proceedings. Nobody else does what we do.
We must ensure that antisemites face ruinous consequences for their actions. That is what zero tolerance of antisemitism means.
