Kimcha De'pischa is an annual project of Keren Simchas Yomtov in Gateshead facilitated by T & S TRUST FUND. 

Our mission is to reduce food costs for Yom Tov for over 250 families of the Gateshead Jewish Community in the lead up to Pesach and Sukkos with dignity. 

Families are able to choose the items they would like at reduced prices. Some items are given free of charge. Items include Eggs, Oil, Grape Juice, Fruit and Veg, Chicken, Meat & Fish as well as Matzos. 

A mass distribution takes place a week before Yom Tov in a very pleasant, welcoming and dignified manner, served by a team of volunteers. 

Out Annual budget is £75,000 and we are aiming to reach our target of £54,000 which will cover our Pesach budget for this campaign. 

There are opportunities to sponsor part/ whole items. 

Kimcha De’pischa has served the Gateshead Kehilla for over 40 years. Our mission is to ensure that every family has the food they need for Yom Tov and are asking you to enable us to make this happen by clicking:
