Hatzola is a non-profit, volunteer organisation providing pre-hospital emergency medical response and transportation at no cost. There are a number of Hatzola operations already operating in the UK and beyond, and Hatzola HBS will be providing professional, highly trained emergency care to most of the local communities of Barnet, Cockfosters, Hadley Wood, Southgate, Totteridge & Whetstone.

Hatzola HBS will be working closely with our local hospitals including Barnet General and specialist centres such as in the Royal Free and collaboratively with national emergency services, such as the London Ambulance Service, London Fire Brigade, Helicopter Emergency Medical Service and the Metropolitan Police, to coordinate and provide professional care for casualties. 

We will be working closely with the NHS developing a strong mutually respectful working relationship, and together we will help to save lives. We will respond to any call for help, Jewish or not.

 Our service is supported totally by volunteers operating as responders, dispatchers and administrators 24 hours a day, seven days a week.  

We have established a permanent base at Cockfosters and North Southgate synagogue where we have installed a storage centre and office for spare medical equipment and supplies.

Hatzola HBS is independent of the synagogues but embedded in our community.  We are fortunate to have local rabbinical support and the Chief Rabbi kindly agreed to be our Patron.
