Honeypot House in the New Forest has been a beautiful location for making happy childhood memories for young carers aged 5-12 for 26 years.
Our wonderful local community supporters, whether they are individuals, schools, local businesses or community groups and clubs are critical to the Honeypot Children's Charity and so we have created a specific Honeypot House Team to contribute to this match funded campaign.

I have been the CEO for this fabulous charity for almost 15 years and seen rapid growth in the number of young carers receiving Honeypot’s support. Demand continues to rise sharply, with many more young carers reaching out to us for our services.  All at Honeypot know we must do more.  

Thanks to the generosity of our Match Funders; The Betty Messenger Charitable Foundation, Munich Re, The Tresanton Trust and several anonymous donors, Honeypot can double the value of donations made to this appeal.

At this critical time when stress and anxiety levels of young carers and their families has greatly increased due to steep cost of living rises, the success of our Christmas Appeal has taken on even greater importance.

FM Conway Charitable Foundation  has raised £35k for Honeypot Children’s Charity through a variety of activities such as the Three Peaks challenge after our staff completed the Three Peaks Challenge as well as the Conway Roadshow event.

Honeypot provides respite breaks and outreach support to young carers and vulnerable children from the age of five up to 12-years-old.

Please help us provide children with yearly respite breaks and support throughout their childhood, as well as fund respite weekends.

Our chosen charity for 2022 is The Honeypot Children's Charity. They are there to support children aged between 5 and 12 years old that care for parents and/or siblings and gives them support to still be children and offer respite when required. 

We believe that no child should be robbed of their childhood by becoming a carer, however the harsh reality is that there are over 800,000 children in this situation here in the UK and they desperately require help and support. 

We are so pleased to announce that we raised them a whopping £9400 over the year and we want to thank everyone involved in supporting this partnership.

Hampshire Hackers Golf Society (HHGS) is a networking golf society open to people situated in the Hampshire and surrounding areas who wish to enjoy a game of golf and network at the same time.

Our chosen charity for 2022 is the Hampshire division of The Honeypot Children's Charity. They are there to support children aged between 5 and 12 years old that care for parents and/or siblings and gives them support to still be children and offer respite when required.

We believe that no child should be robbed of their childhood by becoming a carer, however the harsh reality is that there are over 800,000 children in this situation here in the UK and they desperately require help and support.

We are so pleased to announce that we raised them a whopping £5300 on the day and want to thank all of the organisers, donators and attendees for their generosity. Although there were winners and losers on the day, golf-wise, the real winners will be the children that you have all helped with these additional funds. We'd also like to thank Lee-On-The-Solent Golf Club for their help and assistance on making this day such a success.

Boscombe Cliff Bowling Club President 2021-22, Wendy Harvey, chose to support the Honeypot Children's Charity as her President's Charity this year.

After a visit to Honeypot House, Wendy and some fellow bowlers were inspired to raise awareness about the role young carers take on at home to care for someone they love and help raise funds to provide Honeypot respite to these children.

The funds raised from this year were presented to Honeypot at the club's AGM and we are delighted that they can be doubled by the generous match funders of this campaign to enable more young carers to receive Honeypot Wrap-round support.
