‘While, thankfully, other children spend their time enjoying the Christmas festivities and having a break from school, many young carers will be at home cooking, cleaning, and looking after loved ones. The cost-of-living crisis is  hitting young carer families particularly hard.

This makes our Christmas appeal more urgent. From Tuesday 29th November to Tuesday 6th December all donations will be doubled by a group of generous donors who have agreed to match all donations.

Do you remember as a child how happy Christmas was? For many young carers the excitement of Christmas and going to bed early to wake up to Christmas presents is absent. Many young carers will have the responsibility of making Christmas dinner, washing up and doing household chores.

We cannot help young carers make happy childhood memories at Christmas and in the coming year without the support of kind contributors like you. Thank you for helping to put the fun back into Christmas and all year round for young carers’
