Leo’s Angels was created in loving memory of Leo, who tragically passed away from SUDEP (Sudden Unexpected Death in Epilepsy) just two weeks after his 11th birthday.

Born from both heartbreak and hope, we exist to change the story for other families, so no child is left vulnerable and no parent feels alone navigating this condition. In the UK alone, a child is diagnosed with epilepsy every hour. Every week, 21 people lose their lives to epilepsy-related causes. Yet many families, like Leo’s, are never fully made aware of the risks, including SUDEP.

We are building a future where care is connected, informed, and truly centred around the child. Through advocacy, community support, and the development of practical, life-saving technology, we are working to close the gaps in care that too often have devastating consequences.

Leo’s Angels stands beside families in both the hardest moments and the everyday ones, raising awareness, driving systemic change, and creating tools that help keep children safer. Everything we do is rooted in love, dignity, and a determination to turn loss into lasting impact.

But we need your help. We are on a mission to raise Β£750,000 to fund our pilot projectβ€”connecting essential information into one place to empower families, carers, and clinicians.

Children should not fall through the gaps of a fragmented system. Together, we can change this.
