Ignite Kindness – Light Up Our Community

At Hand in Hand, we believe in the power of chesed to transform lives - not just for those in need, but for those who give. Our 850+ young volunteers step up every day to help families facing disability, bereavement, financial hardship and emotional distress. Through companionship, tutoring, practical support and fun activities they bring relief to struggling homes whilst internalising the priceless values of kindness, compassion, responsibility and leadership.

But kindness alone isn’t enough - we need infrastructure, safeguarding and professional oversight to make this impact possible.

Your donation will ensure that every volunteer is trained, guided and supported to provide safe, effective and meaningful help. It enables our team to carefully match volunteers with families, provide ongoing mentorship and maintain essential safeguarding standards. It also allows us to respond sensitively and effectively to the growing number of families reaching out for help, ensuring that no-one is left behind.

In just 36 hours, we are aiming to raise £360,000 - 3/4 of our annual budget - to ensure that more young people can experience the profound impact of giving, while changing the lives of some of the most vulnerable members of our community.
