The Jewish Educational Center
The Jewish Educational Center is the central institution serving the Jewish community of Elizabeth and beyond. For over 80 years, the JEC has educated generations of students to be Torah Jews in the modern world. The JEC imbues students with Torah knowledge so they can live lives dedicated to the observance of mitzvos and avodas Hashem. Students are cognizant of their responsibility to the Jewish people, Israel and the world at large. They are educated to excel in all facets of life while fully accepting the primacy of Torah.

The Jewish Educational Center includes the Yeshiva of Elizabeth JEC Lower School, the Rav Teitz Mesivta Academy JEC High School and the Bruriah School for Girls.

The JEC Lower School
At the JEC Lower School, we learn Torah, love Torah, and live Torah. We believe in our children and their infinite ability to learn and grow. We prepare our children to excel in the world around them, academically, socially, emotionally and spiritually, as Bnei and Bnot Torah. Every day is an opportunity to work towards deeper learning in all subjects and to foster a love of Israel and a devotion to Am Yisrael. In our school, we believe that working together creates strength and fosters mutual respect. Our parents are our partners in this Avodas Kodesh.

Bruriah
Bruriah is dedicated to achieving academic excellence in both Torah and General Studies. Our goal is to infuse our students with a lifelong love of learning, promote scholastic achievement, and foster personal growth. We prepare our students to achieve their dreams, become the leaders of tomorrow, and to confront the spiritual as well as the professional challenges of today’s modern society.

The JEC Boys Middle and High School
The JEC High School provides academic excellence in Limudei Kodesh and General Studies in a warm, growth-oriented, and nurturing environment. With a focus on personal growth, our dedicated educators inculcate a love of learning as students develop commitment to Klal Yisrael, Toras Yisrael, and Eretz Yisrael. JEC students thrive independently while coalescing into an incredible community that respects individuality and celebrates unity.
