Kollel Beis Aharon was founded over twenty years ago by Dayan Chanoch Ehrentreu זצ״ל, and has become a thriving and much loved מקום תורה in the heart of Edgware.
 
From early morning until late at night, the קול התורה can be heard throughout the building. Its אברכים learn with dedication and depth, while the כולל ערב and Shabbos programmes ensure that the light of תורה continues through the evenings and across the week.
 
The recently enlarged בית המדרש, with capacity for over 150, is full of life every day of the year. אברכים, בעלי בתים and schoolboys alike are drawn to learn there, finding genuine אהבת התורה and a place where people grow.
 
Dayan Chanoch Ehrentreu זצ״ל was the heart of the Kollel from its very beginning. With his vision, wisdom and personal warmth, he built an institution that became a source of תורה for NW London, with it's alumni serving in many מוסדות תורה וחניך. His guidance is deeply missed, and his legacy continues to be felt each day.
 
The Kollel also remembers with gratitude Ivor Smith ז״ל, a devoted lifelong friend whose generosity and loyalty meant so much. The Kollel proudly bears the name יצחק ירנן in his memory, as a lasting tribute to all that he gave.
 
Today, Kollel Beis Aharon continues to grow and serve the community. Through this campaign, we can help strengthen a special centre of תורה and ensure that it continues to flourish for many years to come.
