A Foundation of Ahavas Hatorah

Our Beis Medrash began as a modest group of Bnei Torah united by a daily iyun shiur led by their illustrious maggid shiur, R’ Eliezer Apter.
The group rapidly expanded to include Bnei Torah both young and old, and additional shiurim were added to the daily and weekly schedule. Fueled by the breadth of Torah knowledge, unique clarity, and devoted leadership of R’ Eliezer Apter, the shiur members soon formed a tight knit kehilla.
Today, these Bnei Torah start and end their days in the Koslei Bais Hamedrash and are focused on Limud Hatorah at every opportunity. The annual Yarchei Kallah in Yerushalayim, which was established by R’ Eliezer Apter is joined by many Bnei Torah from Lakewood and beyond. Shiurim and Divrei Brocho are given by Rabbonim and Talmidei Chachomim from around Eretz Yisrael.

Home of Torah and Tefilla

It’s been Thirteen  years since Khal Bnei Hayeshivos began davening Shabbos and Yom Tov tefillos in an available trailer. The fledgling kehilla has since expanded to include over one hundred and twenty mispallelim and more than fifty monthly shiurim.
The explosion in members is largely due to the overwhelming demand for what Khal Bnei Hayeshivos shiurim offer to the entire Lakewood community. A few years ago, the kehilla realized that a permanent, suitable Beis Hamedrash was needed to keep up with all the growth.

Our Beautiful Building

The shul has built a beautiful Bais Hamedrash - including a spacious cheder shiurim, an elegant Simcha Hall, and a beautiful Ezras Nashim - as befits this edifice of Torah. As the shul members and their children grow, this impressive Makom Torah will be able to fulfill our community’s needs beezras Hashem.

But while the building is BH complete, funding is still needed to proceed to the final stages.
