Founded in 2014, Keren Hatzdokoh Gateshead was established to provide assistance to those in need within our community.

Since its inception, the organization has experienced remarkable growth, distributing over £300,000 in the past year alone!

Every Pesach, KHG launches a campaign aiming to raise £100,000 to help local families enjoy Yom Tov in a dignified manner.

This year - 5786 - we have received more requests for assistance than ever before!

We can’t meet these needs without your generous support.

Our goal is to raise £100,000.

We are actively fundraising to receive some larger donations, which we anticipate will contribute approximately £50,000. The remaining £50,000 will be coming in from Kehilla members, relying on each member contributing either £50, £100, or £180.

Be’ezras Hashem, together we will reach our goal - helping local families enjoy Yom Tov in a dignified manner.

You can contribute in several ways:

  1. Visit charityextra.com/khg to make a donation directly. You can allocate your donation to your shul’s page or simply place it on the general page.

  2. Drop off cash or vouchers with any of the Rabbonim in town.

  3. Alternatively, you can send your contribution through any charity platform by searching for ‘KHG’.
