Kollel Tiferes Shmuel – The Power of Torah

MANCHESTER'S POWERHOUSE OF TORAH


As one of the largest Kollelim in Manchester, Kollel Tiferes Shmuel is an unparalleled Mokom Torah. The Yungerleit originate from a variety of Yeshivos and Kollelim, and arrive to Seder with one focus  - to sit and learn Behasmodo with a Cheshek and Joy!

At the helm stands its vibrant Rosh Kollel, Rabbi Avigdor Roth שליט"א. An accomplished תלמיד חכם of repute, his strong leadership capabilities quickly built up the Kollel into the largest Kollel in Manchester, attracting high calibre avreichim from across the community.

The Rosh Kollel guides the Avreichim in learning מסכתות with the ראשונים and פוסקים in depth, with the goal of obtaining full comprehension of the final הלכה למעשה.

ITS INFLUENCE

The impact the Kollel has had since its inception is remarkable. Yungerleit, fully committed to their learning and aspiring to teach others and become community leaders, learn at the Kollel and are actively involved in many programmes across the community. Many have gone on to take up key positions in Torah institutions in Manchester and beyond.

THE CAMPAIGN

The Kollel is holding its annual fundraising Campaign – an opportunity to allow YOU to donate and have a share in the POWER OF TORAH.  The Kollel is struggling to pay stipends to its members and with your help we can continue to pay the monthly stipend.

At a reception in his home Harav Matisyahu Salamon שליט"א, Mashgiach of Beis Medrash Govoah, Lakewood spoke passionately of the importance of supporting this Torah institution. As  he explained, this Kollel is crucial to the growth and bears the future of Torah, and is worthy of the strongest support of the עולם התורה worldwide.
