Maccabi GB is Britain’s leading Jewish sports, health and wellbeing charity. We use the power of sport to create inclusive sporting, community and educational experiences that strengthen Jewish identity, enhance wellbeing and inspire engagement in the Jewish Community, Israel and beyond.

Through our sports initiatives, Maccabi GB strengthens the community in six key ways:

  • Cohesion – working in conjunction with Lord Mann to ensure British Jews can take part in and spectate sport without fear of antisemitism, while representing their interests to national governing bodies.
  • Youth – building a healthier and more resilient Jewish community, connecting with other Jewish people through the unifying prism of sport from primary school to university.
  • Leadership – developing talented sports leaders with the skills, knowledge and confidence to use sport as a tool to strengthen Jewish connection and develop skills for personal and professional growth and take on community leadership roles.
  • Community Opportunities – empowering the community to improve its overall health and wellbeing, by offering year-round sport, health and wellbeing activities for Jews of all ages, abilities and levels of observance.
  • Inclusivity – ensuring Jewish sport is available to all, irrespective of ability or disability, by creating inclusive mainstream sport events and specialised SEND sports programmes.
  • International Talent – enabling Jewish athletes to proudly represent Great Britain at International Jewish Games, while enhancing their Jewish identity through bespoke educational experiences.

Everything we do supports our vision of a healthy, active and proud Jewish community integrated within British society.

For 36 hours, every donation is DOUBLED. With your support, we can continue Strengthening Through Sport by continuing to deliver our programmes, expanding our reach and ensuring every Jewish person in Britain has the opportunity to get active, feel connected and be part of a strong, vibrant community.
