Ignoring This Campaign Isn’t An Option

The success of this campaign is a vital necessity for our community - lives depend on it.

We’re not being dramatic; our local Rabbonim agree that, with 200 women in NW London receiving our vital treatment for serious medical conditions every year, we’re one of the community’s most essential, yet overlooked services.

Our work saves lives; it’s pikuach nefesh.

Menucha treats the 1 in 4 women in our community who suffer Perinatal Mood Disorders. These serious, often life-threatening, medical conditions occur during pregnancy and up to 18 months post-birth. They include Anxiety, Depression, OCD, Birth Trauma, Adjustment Disorder, and Psychosis.

Only Menucha provides vital specialist professional clinical support to our community.

We’re discreet, sensitive, and totally confidential.

But because our work is so private, people don’t discuss it. The lives saved aren’t seen. We’re not talked about – so raising funds is a huge challenge.

This campaign needs to raise £180,000

Our target is to raise half of our annual budget. (IY”H we’ll raise the other half by 31st December!)

If they weren’t afraid to do so, the nearly one thousand women whose lives we’ve changed would tell you how vital it is that this campaign succeeds. You probably know some of them. We’ll never tell anyone who we’ve helped - but know this – there are women and children alive today because of our work.

We can’t take this campaign’s success for granted. And to be clear, if it’s not a success, we won’t be able to take the future of Menucha for granted either.
