The Gift Wellness Foundation is coming together with communities all over the globe to eliminate period poverty. #RedRebelDay aims to raise £100,000 to be able to distribute 600,000 menstrual pads - supplying over 12,000 needy women and girls with at least 6 month's supply of product. 

Our mission is to provide mentrual products for women in crisis: homeless women, refugee women, women on low incomes, dependent on food banks and shelters, as well as girls who are prevented from education due to menstruation.  So far we've donated around 6.2 million pads, and we want to do more!

Did you know that 1 in 10 women can't afford sanitary protection? Up to now we've donated more than 500,000 pads directly to homeless charities in the UK, including The Homeless Period and in Kind Direct, supporting the real women behind the statistics.  Often homeless women have a dilemma whilst on their period - to eat or to have sanitary protection. 

Amongst so many we are also supporting Royingya women in Cox's Bazaar refugee camp, Bangladesh and we're in desperate need of funds.  The issue could not be more urgent, especiallu for women in refugee camps like this who are facing all kinds of unimaginable situations.  In some cases they are forced to rip up clothing for makeshift pads and in others exchange sexual favours to get old of pads that should be readily available to them.

Our goal is to eliminate period poverty in Britain's most deprived communities by 2025.  It is a mammoth task, and one which will only be possible with your support.
