Project Lily is a charity launched in 2017 to help those in the Jewish community facing the darkness of mental health difficulties. Initially focused on helping young people, Project Lily now actively supports people of all ages. Given the challenges we have all faced since 2020, it’s more important than ever to shine some light into the darkness and help those suffering mental health issues.

Our unique three-stage approach promotes rapid interventions that prevent the escalation of issues and identifies those more serious cases that we can immediately refer and support through appropriate therapy.

Project Lily has:

- Delivered FREE, CPD accredited training to over 700 people from across the community. Our BACP registered trainer has equipped them to identify and rapidly respond to the most common mental health issues before they escalate.

- A care pathway that initiates urgent therapy within just 24 hours

- Provided an average of £500 subsidised therapy for every referral who couldn’t meet the cost themselves

- A growing network of Jewish communal organisations whose staff and volunteers receive ongoing support and supervision with the mental health issues that their users encounter, including JLE, Work Avenue, Seed, Noa, Boys Club House, and Resource.

Thousands of people are impacted by Project Lily’s critical role in early intervention and support - and we need to help keep shining that light. This work is not only life-changing but is sometimes life-saving.

To ensure that Project Lily can continue to train, support and treat, please dig deep and donate whatever you can - no amount is too small, and every penny or pound will be doubled by the generous Shine Some Light match funders.

This 2 day campaign needs to meet its ambitious target by 10pm this Monday!

Let’s make it happen!
