Last year, Rays of Sunshine brightened the lives of over 13,000 seriously ill children at home and in hospital across the UK. The COVID-19 crisis has really highlighted the importance of Rays of Sunshine in helping spread happiness during the darkest times, and reminded us of how valuable moments of happiness are for seriously ill children and their families.

Against the odds and with income down by 63%, we continued to grant wishes for children with life limiting conditions, and the Rays of Sunshine community now shines brighter than ever.

We are hopeful that the grey clouds we have been under will soon lift and once again we will enjoy sunnier times. Sadly Rays of Sunshine knows that for many children and families living through the unimaginable this is not the case. Our ‘WHAT I WOULD GIVE…’ campaign will aim to capture the preciousness of a happy memory to families living through the unimaginable.
