The Passaic Chill (“The Chill”) is a community based drop-in center founded in 2013 to service local teens and youth who are struggling.  

Staffed by carefully trained volunteer mentors, we aim to foster strong relationships between struggling adolescents who have withstood trauma in their young lives, and stable healthy adult role models.

Visitors to The Chill can expect a hot meal and a host of other amenities, including a well-curated library, a robust entertainment system along with other attractions in our safe environment.

We also assist our teens with yeshiva placement, resume-building and job placement, as well as helping them continue their education by obtaining a GED or seeking entry to college.
